I pieced together this pillow cover using Shot Cottons and Gees Bend fabrics in deep orange, vibrant chartreuse, golden gold, basil greens and rich browns. Using a free form design meant to enhance each color to its fullest, this pillow cover is unique not only in the design, but the fabrics used.
The machine quilting I did on the front only brings out the beauty of this piece. I used a dark green thread in a free form, all over design .
The back is double layered kona cotton in a rich basil. It is a classic envelope style with a tie back. I zig zagged the seams, giving it a more finished look.
It has been pre-washed with a fragrance free detergent and tumble dried to give it a soft crinkled look.

Machine or hand wash gentle, air or tumble dry low. Mild detergent if needed. Do not bleach. Gently washing and drying your hand made quilt or pillow will extend it's life.
