Approximately 9” x 6” (with strap that is about 22”.) Sherlock stands around 6”.
This is version 2 of my Sherlock bag, based off a doodle I drew last year. This one has an external pocket, and features the fourth and final version of my Sherlock design.
The bag is made of twill fabric, and the inside of the external pocket is lined with a thin iron-on vinyl. It protects the embroidery, and gives the bag some shape. The top is a zipper, and the strap is a crosgrain ribbon.
I'm not entirely fond of how I put the strap and zipper on this bag, but that's what experimenting is for, right? All edges are finished both with stitching and an extra coating of FrayCheck.
