This blouse is part of my Fall 2011 Collection, 'A Bittersweet Dream' ~ which was influenced by the wonderful words of Tom Robbins.

I love turning something old into something new. I took a brown plaid Men's button down shirt and turned it into a beautiful women's blouse. What was the back of the men's shirt is now the front of the women's shirt, exposing the buttons in the back. I kept the original sleeves of the men's shirt, shortened them and added them to this blouse. I added a brown knit jersey to the neckline, which ties in the front. The shirt has an elastic finish on the bottom.

All my recycled items have been pre-washed, all seams are serged/top stitched when needed.
