For these Victorian-style earrings I chose elements to represent birds, eggs and trees. The 24k gold vermeil stamping shows a bird in flight; it resembles a swallow, a sparrow, bluebird or a lovebird. Vermeil is a thin layer of 24k gold over sterling silver. The turquoise is from the Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona, and is noted for its brilliant color. The genuine freshwater seed pearls in white have a wonderful luster and add to the feminine style of the earrings. The 24k gold vermeil leaf post earrings findings are the perfect finishing touch.
Length: Approximately 2.25 inches (2 1/4")
These romantic bird earrings would be a wonderful choice for a birthday or Mother's Day gift.
These turquoise earrings would also be absolutely lovely as the “something blue” for a bride, and a wonderful choice for bridesmaid’s jewelry. They can be custom ordered with different color pearls and stones to match your wedding theme (prices may vary), and they are also available in sterling silver. A matching necklace and bracelet are also available.
