An absolutely awesome Turquoise Blue Crab Crate that can be used as a side table, coffee table as well as giving you storage. It is made of sturdy 3/4 on an inch thick boards that are screwed together so that it is heavy and tough. You can even sit on it if you like. You could use it at the door to throw shoes or backpacks in and sit on it to tie up your shoes. It has been painted in a layer of turquoise over white and then distressed to give it that great vintage look. A blue crab (well, he's actually white) adorns the front and lid.
The lid is "hinged" at the back with braided natural 5 ply twine so that it balances up straight when opened. (It may not be good for little kiddy fingers though, just in case they bang it and it closes on them.) It also fastens at the front with the same twine over a knotted ball. There are half moon cutout handles on the side for carrying.
I can also do this without or without the crab and the crate can also be a different color if you like. Just send me a convo. This same crate also comes without a lid if you like and in a smaller size. Look for them in my other listings. Check out the smaller crab crate in the last picture and in my other listings. It fits nicely inside the larger crate and it you purchase it at the same time as the larger crate you won't pay anymore shipping.
This is a large, sturdy and heavy crate. With the lid it measures 22 inches long, 16 3/4 inches high and 17 3/4 inches from front to back. Without the lid it measures 21 7/8 inches long, 16 inches high and 16 1/2 inches from front to back. Inside it measures 18 7/8 inches long, 15 inches deep and 15 inches from front to back.
