♥ DESIGN:
The design of this shoe allows your baby’s small toes to have plenty of room to move and grow, as their shape is not rigid. Research published in podiatry journal The Foot in 2007 suggests that structural and functional changes can result from the foot having to conform to the shape and constriction of a shoe, rather than being allowed to develop naturally. And the younger the foot, the greater the potential for damage. So, room for the feet to move and flexible materials, like good quality felt, are two fundamental keys for your baby’s feet’s development! If you add a third key - creative design - you will probably agree that you found what you were looking for!
♥ MATERIALS:
100% wool felt. It contains small pieces, so is not intended as a toy.
♥ SIZES:
Size 1 (0-3 months) = 9cm / 3,54 inches
Size 2 (3-6 months) = 10cm / 3,94 inches
Size 3 (6-9 months) = 11cm / 4,33 inches
Size 4 (9-12 months) = 12cm / 4,72 inches
Size 4 will come with leather pads on the sole for standing up and first steps!
My ADVICE is to measure your baby’s feet from big toe to heel. If you are buying these shoes to give as a gift use the chart above (a safe bet is to buy the size above!).
