woodblock printed bandanna

This charming bandanna is lovingly printed by hand with a lace doily and stripes pattern using hand cut woodblocks and black and yellow oil-based etching ink on green and white fabric. This fabric was purchased new off the bolt but is a vintage fabric that had been sitting in a large warehouse for decades. It's a little thinner than your average bandanna, closer to silk scarf weight, and has a subtle sheen to its surface. The edges are finished off with a narrow serged hem in pale gray thread. I wash all of my bandannas after printing so that only the ink that has bonded with the fabric stays behind, leaving the print soft and comfortable for you to wear. The 4th photo has been included to show another way to wear it, but rest assured your bandanna has never been worn.
