woodblock printed bandanna

This charming bandanna is lovingly printed by hand with a lace doily and circles pattern using hand cut woodblocks and blue and red oil-based etching ink on dark gray fabric. The edges are finished off with a narrow serged hem in pale gray thread. The allover blue print layer has been purposefully distressed for textural interest. I wash all of my bandannas after printing so that only the ink that has bonded with the fabric stays behind, leaving the print soft and comfortable for you to wear. The 4th photo has been included to show another way to wear it, but rest assured your bandanna has never been worn.
