A ribbon of Argentium Silver swirls down off the ear to capture a bright champagne stone at its tip. This tendril of silver frames the face, with a design first conceived as a pendant. Unlike the pendant, these earrings hold no center stone, which I felt was too formal. I wanted these to be enjoyed for wear at any time of day. The original patterns were carved in wax, and like all asymmetrical earrings, presented the challenge of each mirroring the other.
A contemporary, yet timeless design by award winning designer, David Worcester.
Cast in Argentium 960 premium quality, 100% recycled silver, these earrings measure 27mm x 13.5mm, or 1 1/16 x 1/2 inches, and hold 2.5 millimeter Champagne CZs at the tip. PLEASE LOOK AT MEASUREMENTS CAREFULLY. ACTUAL SIZE CANNOT BE DETERMINED FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHS, WHICH ARE PHOTOGRAPHED TO SHOW DETAIL.
CUBIC ZIRCONIA: This synthesized stone is hard, optically flawless and usually colorless, but is also made in a variety of different colors. Because of its low cost, durability, and close visual likeness to diamond, synthetic cubic zirconia has remained the most gemologically and economically important competitor for diamonds. It is also an environmentally friendly option.
These earrings are shipped with a protective pouch via Priority Mail in a recycled gift box.
ARGENTIUM SILVER is a special alloy, verified as the most tarnish resistant made, but an occasional simple wipe with a soft cloth, and tucking the piece into the provided, protective pouch will further enhance its natural aversion to tarnish.
