Being the scientific type, you generally have a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. For example, you are certain that the aerodynamic properties of reindeer are about zero, and the technical and logistical requirements to deliver packages to every household on the planet in one night simply cannot be overcome. In short, good science shows that the whole Santa thing is quite impossible, in spite of what Mom and Dad told you.

Still, you sometimes feel like a real party pooper when your scientific, engineering, and/or logistics training doesn't allow you to join in the traditional holiday festivities. You just don't feel right about decorating your office or classroom with paper Santas that defy almost all known laws of physics. But those Liberal Arts-degreed folks seem to be having such a good time...
