*It isn't real Cinnabar, it's lacquered wood. Real cinnabar is mercury ore, weighs 50 pounds and will make you crazy (see Hatter, Mad), make you forget why you wanted these earrings in the first place and that would be sad.
Earrings dangle about 3 inches long and only weigh about 0.05 of an ounce each, ~ very light weight. Perfect for those that love big earrings, but not heavy ones.
**Copper earwires are made from base metal and contain NO Lead or Nickel. But please let me know in the "comments to seller" section at your time of purchase if you would prefer Small Sterling Silver Shepherd Hook style earwires. I'll be happy to switch them out at no extra charge.
