The dolls are made out of wool and cotton, and are embroidered with care and attention to detail. The winsome, skillfully crafted needle-felted animals are made of wool roving, cotton embroidery thread, and cotton metal pipe-cleaners. Alkelda's standing human figures are between 2.75-3 inches tall. Bossy's Feltworks' animals were needle felted out of wool over cotton pipe cleaner frames with stitched eyes. The animals range in size from the camel, which is 4.5 inches long to the smallest sheep, which is 1.75 inches long.

This set is suitable for display and storytelling, and should be kept out of reach from pets and children who still put toys in their mouths (small parts may be a choking hazard). The bases of the dolls are signed in thread with my signature “A.”
