I love to weave plaids. The resulting fabric is visually pleasing and has a timeless appeal. I used 5/2 mercerized cotton to weave the fabric (see it on the loom in photograph 2?). This fabric is easy to care for: machine wash on gentle, dry in your preferred manner, and iron as needed. I used a 16" square pillow form to photograph this item.
The underside of the pillow is also made from my handwoven fabric; the weft stripes are showcased here.
