Flavia is made from baked clay, hand-sculpted, hand-sanded and hand-painted to a lovely matte finish. She is jointed at the shoulders, hips and knees with cord, and can be seated in various different positions (she does not stand). Her zebra clothing is hand-stitched from coffee-dyed cotton homespun fabric, and hand-painted. Her beautiful russet hair is made from pure mohair yarn, and her crown (removeable) is hand-carved. She is 11 inches from the top of her head to her toes.
Flavia is an art doll, and although she is delightful to hold and pose, she is delicate and not intended for use as a toy. Her clothing, except for the crown, is not removable.
