This nice piece of furniture would be great in almost any room of your house. It makes a great ottoman, or foot stool in your living room. Use it in a kid’s room as a fun chair. All of my poufs are crafted using 4 strands of 100% acrylic held together and can be washed and dried with no problems. Acrylic is a very sturdy yarn that will not pill or look ratty after a few months. It is very low maintenance – only needing to be washed when it gets dirty.
To stuff the pouf all you will need is some pillows, comforters, foam, blankets, or even some old clothes depending on how soft or firm you want it.
This medium pouf measures about 12 inches tall and 15 inches wide. It can be stretched bigger depending on what you stuff it with. For the pictures above I used a sofa pillow form from hobby lobby.
I have already finished one side for you and I have already weaved the strings through the other side. All you have to do is stuff the pouf and pull the strings. I would recommend tying the strings in a bow (not cutting the strings) and stuffing them in the middle of the loop if possible. Doing this will allow you to take it off and wash it from time to time.
