HANDMADE DETAILS:
This 100% silk origami butterfly has been hand folded and meticulously sewn with needle and thread to keep its shape. It has been hand sewn onto a metal alligator clip.
If you would like it sewn onto a french barrette instead, just contact me and let me know.
The outer wings are sewn from Black Silk, while the inner wings are sewn from Peacock Teal Blue Silk. Depending on how the light hits the surface of the curved inner wings, the butterfly will appear teal or royal blue. A layer of black lace lines the inner wings. An absolutely gorgeous butterfly!
The over all dimensions are about about 4 inches by 2 inches.
