I formed the nest with antiqued brass wire and secured it to a lovely (and very sturdy) Vintaj brass filigree ring. The "eggs" are Czech glass rondelle-shaped beads that are a light milky-green. They also have light brown speckles that remind me of natural eggs.
The ring will currently fit a size 7 1/2 finger, and it can be adjusted slightly to be made bigger or smaller.
