The hat is fabricated with deep navy blue wool felt and beneath the brim pokes out some gorgeous apple blossom flowers and pink sprays. I think they're made of horse hair, but I'm not sure. They appear to be like pink bangs to me. The netting is in good condition.
I've modeled the hat on the mannequin to enable you to inspect the netting however when wearing the hat, it's best to roll the netting up just below the eyes -- because if you pull it down over your mouth as pictured how the heck are ya gonna eat or drink?
When the hat ships, the netting will be gently compressed with tissue to protect it in transit. To revive the netting simply gently stretch with hands and shape with hair spray to finish. Hat also comes with hat pin to help secure in your hair or on a hat stand.
