All of my prints are printed on archival fine art paper using pigment ink.
Juvenile Black-throated Green Warbler
Original artwork was created on Lama li paper from Nepal utilizing my original designs then painting over the design with watercolor.
During the 2010 Fall Migration I was excited to discover warblers stopping in my back yard to feed on a Cedar Tree. It was quite by accident that I saw them as I took kitchen scraps out to the compost but there they were busy feeding and hopping from one branch to another. I began to think what would these little travelers write if they were to send a postcard back home to their Summer grounds.
Thus 'Letter to Chloe 1' is a first in a series of mixed media pieces of these traveling little wonders.
The meaning of Chloe: Means 'Green Shoot' or 'Verdant And Blooming' in Greek. This was an epithet of the Greek goddess Demeter. So I chose this name to represent the the green fertile summer grounds these birds travel back to in the Spring.
Prints are packaged in a clear bag with a hard backing for protection and will be mailed in a hard photo mailing envelope through USPS. Allow 3 - 10 days for receipt of purchase.
