A stunning 1940s cocktail ring set with a long glass stone. The setting of the ring is brass. The band is simple and adjustable. The shoulders of the ring are cast with a spray of three flowers, reaching up and curling around to act as prongs for the feature stone. The stone itself is dark purple with a marquise style cut. The front, sides and back of the stone are all visible in the setting. There is a little wiggle to the stone but it is completely secure with the four prongs. Some tarnish to the brass. Overall condition is excellent.
