How do you reimagine an icon? Take the cow skull, shorthand for the merciless and barren desert. Deconstruct it and rebuild it as a constellation of individual circles. Print it on a tea towel and put it to use in the kitchen. Reimagine it once more by superimposing your own story. Use it to clean up spilled wine and stain it with memories of unforgettable meals.
Designed by Karole Mazeika for KASI. Karole’s process is deeply rooted to place. Through narrative she combines site and culture by using contemporary means to create intimate objects.
