So many old books these days are going to waste in thrift shops, Goodwill Industry stores and in dusty attics everywhere. Each print for sale in this shop is made from a rescued and renewed antique book found in just one of those places. These books are most often found in a state mild to severe dis-repair with only the interior pages left perfectly intact. With the creation of this print, and the many others I have for sale in my store, these antique treasures get a chance to be admired yet again for years to come.
ABOUT EACH PRINT:
Each print comes from a different antique book or dictionary. No two prints are ever exactly the same. The images you see are examples of what your print can look like but not an exact replica of what your particular print will be. Please select the paper type you would like from the drop down menu above the “Add to Cart” Button.
I select the dictionary pages and book-pages at random so that all the paper gets used. All prints come on an authentic book-page and are not scans of any kind. These are all printed using profession archival ink printing techniques which show colors vibrantly and without fading for up to 100 years.
SHIPPING INFO:
All prints shipped within the US are via First Class Mail - to the UK I ship Priority Mail in an envelope in order to avoid the buyer paying VAT charges. Also each print will be in a plastic sleeve with a recycled cardboard insert to keep it straight and unwrinkled. Packages are shipped in Stay Flat Cardboard Mailers to keep them from being bent and damaged on their way to their destination. Included with your package will be an insert telling you what the original publishing date and title of your Book-page was along with the date it was Re-Printed as this beautiful artwork.
Items usually ship in 2-4 business days of cleared payment. First class mail will arrive at its destination (in the US) within 2-4 business days. Priority mail shipments that are shipped internationally vary in their shipping time but usually 6-10 days. Each sale can be tracked via your PayPal account or the etsy transaction.
