They are both Vintage Westmoreland Painted Milk gGass urns, one has lid. They are in excellent condition, circa 1943.

Westmoreland Glass Company production started in Grapeville, Pa. in 1890. In fact, this Company was one of the most prolific producers of fine milk glass in the U.S. in the 1940's. In 1984 the Company closed just a few years shy of it's 100 year anniversary.

The measurements of the urns are 9 1/2" high, 4 1/2" circumference at top, and 4 1/2" at bottom. The urn with the lid is 13 1/2" high. They are hand painted with pink roses, small blue flowers green vines and lavender bows. All the photos show the gold border

They would look wonderful on a mantle piece, with or without the lid. They weight in over 2 lbs each. These pieces are definitely architectural pieces that would compliment any decor.

Now who keeps the one with the lid?
