I've made both pieces out of vintage, silver knit crushed velvet fabric. The shorts have a waistband with elastic for extra comfort and fit. They have two pleats on each side on the front, as well as a seam down each side in the back. The vest is very flowy and is worn left open a bit. Each looks super cooler worn with each other, but can also be worn as separates and look equally as great. All of the seams are serged for a professional finish.
This would best fit a small or medium.
Measurements (laying flat):
*Vest is mostly one size fits most. The pattern is a rectangle shape with armholes cut out. Here are some additional measurements:
-Back Width Between Armholes: 9.75 inches
-Armpit Length: 9 inches
-Front Width (from armhole to front): 10.5 inches
-Length (top to bottom):23 inches
*Shorts Measurements:
-Waist not stretched: 13 inches
-Waist Stretched: 22 inches
-Hips: 22 inches
-Bottom Hem: Free
-Length: 12.5 inches
