I threw this mug on my potter's wheel from white stoneware and adorned it with a mustache medallion created with a stamp I carved myself. The bottom of the mug is stamped with my studio logo (Rincon Pottery) and my maker's mark ('M' for Miri). I glazed the cup with a rich semi-matte brown glaze. The foot-ring is unglazed.
I mix all my glazes from scratch, so I know exactly what is in them. The glazes I use are food safe and do not include lead or other toxic materials. This cup can be safely put in the microwave and dishwasher.
