So. Of course I had to make a little dress with vintage brown cotton fabric with motifs from the original book. This used to be a duvet cover back in the 70's, but it is still in great condition.
I combined it with a red lining and seam binding and beige buttons. All to leave the effect in the fabric to speak for itself.
We love these jumpers so easy to match with a long sleeved shirt in the winter and a t-shirt in the summer. It's very comfortable and easy to step into and just pull up and button over the shoulders with two big buttons.

I wash all my fabric in an eco friendly detergent before cutting them. This prevents them from bleeding or shrinking after I have sewn the garment. We are a smoke free and pet free household.
