Silhouettes created in photoshop don't offer the detail and artistic touch that you'll find in every single one of my hand sketched silhouettes. In fact, I can add volume to a ponytail, tone down bed head, add a bow to a pony tail or on the side of the head or just about any other request you might have. I've painted hundreds of silhouettes and I truly enjoy capturing the simple beauty in a portrait.
Rim colors include licorice black, lemon yellow, sour apple green, sage green, turquoise, cotton candy pink, robin's egg blue. Rim can be scalloped in design, polka dotted or solid. Contact me for other color options.

●Tips for photographs●
Take photograph at the height of your model. If your subject is light complected please take photograph against a dark colored solid background. If your model is dark complected a light solid background is ideal. Keep in mind your model’s hair will be painted as it appears in the photograph. For the most dramatic contrast consider placing girl’s hair in a high ponytail or a bun. This will show of her neck beautifully. Boys’ hair should be styled as it normally appears.

1. Name, if desired, to be painted on front of plate (for a simple look, consider adding name to the back of the plate)
2. Rim design
3. Rim color

Also, hair bows can be added to the silhouette and don't need to be photographed on the model. Please include any of these preferences.
All pieces are non-toxic, food and dishwasher safe. Although each piece is kiln-fired to insure the longevity of the piece hand washing is recommended.
