My latest creation is a 5+1/2" Art Doll with a golden glass skirt. She is the Lady Fiachina, Celtic Elf-Mistress of crops. Fiachina was honoured with the title 'Dame Mistress and Defender of Crops' after defeating the Goblin crop destroyers during a week-long battle of wits in 424AD. She continues her battle to this day, destroying any leaf-mould or Goblin-sent insect hordes which may venture into Elf World.
Sculpted without the use of moulds from Prosculpt on an inverted wine glass, Fiachina has handpainted blue glass eyes and crown-rooted lamb's hair which I have dyed with Earth Dyes. Her bodice and wings were handcrafted from twenty-six pieces of golden gauze, created for a distinctive, ethereal, ragged look.
Lady Fiachina Art Doll will be accompanied by an authenticity certificate signed by the artist.
