I have a soft spot for basing some of my yarns on fish as the hubby keeps a variety of tropical fish, however when these batts were carded I knew as soon as they were finished that they were very salmon inspired.
This pretty skin soft yarn is reminiscent of salmon making their annual migratory journey home to the place that they were born. with mixes of clear blues and salmon coloured merino, the hint of scaly shininess comes from the creamy soy silk.
This yarn could be the start of your crafting journey, maybe into a pretty scarf or perhaps a chunky pair of mittens, maybe it could even be incorporated into many projects perhaps to be given at Christmas all making their own individual journeys somewhere........

Cool hand wash and lay flat as this yarn will felt.
All my yarns are prepared and spun my me in a smoke and pet free home unless otherwise stated, well maybe that’s a small white lie, because I do keep tropical fish...
