There's a complete color and stitch guide for the baubles shown on the pattern cover, or you can choose your own favorite colors. I've already heard from one customer who plans to make several to hang on her tree - and let her grandchildren each choose one to take home with them. Sweet!

For a more homespun look, you can frame them in 3 inch embroidery hoops (available at any craft store) and hang those on your tree! Or you can enlarge any of the patterns to stitch on T-shirts, blankets, tote bags, and more! You've never embroidered a single stitch before? No worries. The pattern only uses the most basic stitches, and it has links to free video tutorials to teach you how to do them. I teach these stitches to kids as young as six - I promise anyone can learn them. :-)
