This squirrel feeder is handcrafted in Western Red Cedar. Western Red Cedar is naturally resistant to rot thus requiring no finish. If left natural, the cedar will weather to a silver/ gray color w/o compromising strength. However, to keep it looking new, you can coat it with an exterior sealer or paint finish.

All parts are assembled with Stainless Steel screws & outdoor glue except the seat slats which are nail pinned & glued. Ships fully assembled w/mounting holes & 2 stainless screws. Measures 5 1/2" x 18" x 18". Weighs approx. 6 lbs.

The squirrel in the photo is real but of course is not included. To reduce shipping cost, the corn cob is not included.
