These vintage pearl earrings feature special vintage glass pearls from 1940s Japan. The pearls measure 12mm (almost 1/2 inch) in diameter with a lustrous ivory finish. These are vintage glass pearls that show their age a bit, you may see some minor scuffs to the finish, but no peeling or chipping. What makes these vintage glass pearls so special is that they are from the Miriam Haskell warehouse and are vintage stock that was never used by the Haskell company. These gorgeous vintage glass pearls are enhanced with a brass filigree bead caps and topaz Swarovski crystals. They are suspended from antiqued brass ear wires. From the top of the earwire where it is in the ear to the very bottom of the pearl dangle measures 1 3/4 inches. I had in mind the Seattle Opera’s production of Wagner’s The Ring when I designed these earrings. Matching necklace is available.
If you prefer a more compact version of these earrings on antiqued brass leverbacks (see last photo) please let me know you want the "mini Wagner" when you check out.
Your purchase will be carefully packaged in a small box, wrapped with ribbon and flowers, for giving or as a treat for you!
