This necklace is part of a collection inspired by traditional weaving patterns around the world.
I've always been fascinated with Turkish Kilim weaving, native American Pendleton rugs and Ikat patterns from south-east Asia. The patterns bouncing around in my head ended up incarnated in a mini collection of strongly geometric wooden necklaces. I finished each piece with the signature chevron-shaped chain fringe to break up the starkness of the geometric design.
