This Ceramic Stoneware, is a miniature depiction of the vintage Kahiki Zombie Mug, the original design was made by my Mother, Marcy Sapp for the Kahiki. He's just hanging out under a Palm Tree on his own Tiki Island! Kahiki Zombie Island measures 3 1/2 inches across,4 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches in depth.
The Zombie Mug was used at the famous polynesian restaurant, The Kahiki Supper Club that was located in Columbus, Ohio. The mug was produced in the basement of the Kahiki and was used from the restaurants opening in 1961 thru the late 1970's. Sadly the Kahiki was torn down in 2000 to make way for a Walgreens.
This is part of a series of Islands and miniature Tiki Mugs that look great on there own or as a collection!
