In 1906, Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures from the autumn (fall) .
This listing is for ONE garland with 8 triangular flags, each measuring 21cm long x 17cm across. The bunting is designed to be viewed from one side only and is not really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all!
The bunting has been threaded together with rescued wool (the colour of the wool may be different from that shown in the photos).
If the flags were placed end to end on the wool, the bunting would be 136cm (approx 4ft 6in) long. We’ve included additional wool so that you can spread the flags out on the wool if you want to – they slide easily on the wool – and there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.
This would be gorgeous bunting for a fall party or autmun wedding! Hang it in any room in your home to bring a little of the outside in!
