If I had hair, it'd be up in a jelly roll. I'd be rocking the ginchiest duds and cruisin' in a T-bird with a straight six, heels on fire. As it is, the 'tache is greased up, the 501's are flapping in the wind and Elvis and his steel guitar are sending me to Tune Town. Mic'd up and ready to roll...
The detailing on this little beauty is spot-on, right down to the screw hinge and the tiny on/off switch on the face plate. Underneath the mic there's even a socket for the mic cable, and the grill on the microphone, front and back , looks just like the real thing. I've sold a few of these to ladies and gents in bands - good to know this thing is getting good stage time. I can't hold a note (so I'm told. Me, I think I rock out pretty hard but then I am half deaf), so this mic is probably the closest I'll ever get to headlining. Close enough.
Not including the jump ring, the mic measures 1 1/4" high and a little under 1/2" wide. A great size and a perfect weight.
The microphone is completely hand carved, cast in the finest white bronze and hand finished. The mic is then thickly silver plated and finally a patina applied to give the mic a great vintage look and feel - time to unleash your inner rock god/goddess.
I've hung this microphone on a 24" antique silver plated chain.
