What says Christmas more than a couple of buxom babes in shortie Santa costumes, cavorting in the ice and snow?
Here's a pair of Frosty Treat Dixie cup glasses in the one quart size. From the early 1950's, they depict some generously endowed and very athletic women engaging in wholesome outdoorsy pursuits. I love it that all the guys and bundled to the nines and the ladies are out there exposing their bums to the elements. There is also a rather leering youth shown on one of the cups the reminds me a lot of the men in the infamous Art Frahm illustrations. I'm sure these cups were considered more than a bit racy back in the day.
These cups are 4.75 inches across the top and 3.25 inches across the base. The graphics are clean and in great shape. There's a bit of soiling inside, probably a lot of it from the original cola that dispensed in the cup. Someone took really nice care of these darlings over the last 60-odd years.
Put some colorful vintage glass Christmas balls in the cups and you'll have a retro cool holiday decor item that your friends will envy like crazy. It's time to start planning for that hipster holiday!
