This gift box holds eight (8) tins with a wide selection of delicious rubs that will get your mouth watering and your cooking inspiration going. None of our hand-mixed rubs have MSG or chemical fillers.
The kit includes one tin each of the following:
- Beer-Can Chicken Rub: A strange name, and a funny grilling technique, that results in chicken skin that is thin and crispy, tender and moist meat that falls off the bone.
- Buffalo Wings Seasoning: Our take on the classic New York spicy appetizer.
- French Provencal Seasoning: If you grill fish, vegetables or chicken, this will be your go-to blend of basil, oregano, rosemary, lavender and other spices. A savory, salt-free spice mix.
- Italian Parmesan Seasoning: A staple in our kitchen at home, this adds richness to sauces and soups without all the extra calories.
- Lemon Pepper: A blend of fresh cracked Tellicherry pepper, sea salt and citrus zests that have been ground super fine. Terrific on fish.
- Louisiana Blackened Cajun Seasoning: Another staple in our kitchen, this has all of the heat of the Deep South - without the burn. If you haven't had this on steak and grilled shrimp, you haven't lived.
- Steak Seasoning: Our take on the steak rub, with rough grind on the spices to make a terrific crust on steak.
- Sweet Mesquite BBQ Seasoning: Very peppery, with the flavors of mesquite smoke peaking through, this is fantastic on steaks and pork tenderloins. A big, bold rub that is not for the faint of heart.
The tins seal firmly on their own, so you don’t need to worry about them bursting open. Each container is about 2.5 inches wide and .875 inches high. Depending on the spice rub and its weight, each tin holds between .6 to 2.2 ounces of spice.
An ingredient list of each spice blend is included on the tin labels, and several recipe cards are included in the gift box.
