Geode agate slice with druzy crystals and sterling silver necklace. I wire wrapped a lovely crystallized geode agate slice to a sterling silver chain with a small labradorite bead and added another at the bail with a tiny silver bead . A geode is a rock with a cavity lined with crystals, these geodes are found in Brazil and "oco" is the Portuguese word for hollow. Druzy refers to the pretty crystal formations on the inside. The agate slice is white, smoky gray amd black. The agate slice is electroplated with sterling silver on the outside edge. I really love the rugged rustic look that is balanced by the elegance of the crystals, nature's magic at work. These necklaces go with with so many different styles from casual to dressy.
The pendant is 1-3/4" long including the wire wrapped bail and 1" wide. The sterling silver chain is 17" long.
