The tiny boat looks very simple and cute, however it is a well crafted miniature replica model of an original trawler.
All my boats are made with a lot of attention to detail. All pieces are made by myself. The process takes a lot of steps but the result is so worth it. Poplar wood pieces are cut to size, the slope of the deck is given, plywood deck is nailed to the body, plywood beech port - starboard railing are fit into place, cabin, hatch, lid, rudder, mast, nose, life buoys, propeller and other details are fixed on place. All the details that should be on the boat are made in accordance with the original plan. Boats are hand sanded before painting and painted with cellulosic paint. Equipped with nylon rope rigging.
Wood: canadian poplar ( populus canadensis) and plywood beech for details.
