Marty’s Sock Puppet Portraits are framed photographs of original sock puppets that artist Marty Allen creates. They each have a name, a personality, a bevy of social disorders, a Facebook Group and quiz, olde school myspace profiles (http://www.myspace.com/dinosaurspot ), a soap opera (www.sockpuppetmanor.com) and many are oddly associated with Marty and several other humans in the Brooklyn-based band, Monsterface (http://www.unclemonsterface.com).
Altogether, there are 52 Sock Puppet Portraits - see them all at http://www.martystuff.com
Coming Soon!
Their own PRIVATE SOCIAL NETWORK at

BUT! Some are going to be retired in 2012!
One more time: These are PHOTOGRAPHS of sock puppets, not the puppets themselves. .

Born just over 65 million years ago, Spot the Elusive Dinosaur is an expert at hiding. And mildly narcoleptic. 65 million years ago (or so), he was doing an excellent job of hiding behind a rock. He fell asleep. He woke up last Tuesday, and quickly realized that all of his friends were extinct. Bummed out, he did what anyone else would - bought a ukulele, named it "Fossil", and wrote an ode to his friends. A vegetarian and bird-lover, hear his song and learn more about Spot in his own words at http://www.myspace.com/dinosaurspot.
