The still life consists of nine bottle forms and three fruit. All pieces are made of low fire clay, so these bottles can't be used for utilitarian purposes. However, a dried flower or a twig placed in one of these would naturally blend in with this setup. Pieces are completely hand sculpted by using very thin slabs. No molds have been utilized in the process. The pieces have been treated with underglazes, engobes, glaze and oxide washes in a subtle, layered way. The piece in its entirety would make a lovely, rustic visual statement in just a bout any space.
The tallest bottle measures approximately 14-15" in height.
