What is a cowl? A cowl is an alternative to a scarf. They won't come undone and fall off! This particular style is worn loose around your neck and under or over your coat during the colder months.
I've taken green cotton from a sweater and hand sewn the seam at the top of the cowl.
Cowl measurements: 30" around, 13" long.
