Made from a Antique Blue Samsonite Vintage Suitcase. It has a Mid Century era brown leaf fabric cushion. The bottom has been reinforced with a fabric wrapped plywood insert for strength and durability. The tulip, Herman Miller inspired base is metal with a felted bottom to protect your floors. The bed doesn't wobble or tip when the cats jump in and out. But just to be sure, we tested the tipping point at 40lbs of weight on the very edge of the bed.
Our cats love it. A bed and a perch, what more could a kitty ask for?
