Though Einstein's most-quoted work may be e=mc^2, this is undeniably a favorite: Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Letterpress printed on a vintage Vandercook press with wood block type, this 12" x 18" poster is rich with the visual texture that comes from well-loved text. Limited edition of 5 posters.
Letterpress was the normal form of printing text from its invention by Johannes Gutenberg in the mid-15th century until the 19th century. Today, advances in photopolymer chemistry allows printers to easily convert digit images to physical plates used on these antique machines, but this was printed the old-fashioned way with individual pieces of carved wood.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
