In this case, the ink "jumped" and made a little splat above and to the left of his back. What can I say. You can't control ink. You can see the splat in the picture. I think it gives this little guy some character.
I use 28# acid-free paper, high quality India inks, and archival quality pens in my work. This piece of art is 5 x 7. It is signed and dated on the front.
