Material is a soft, lightweight, peachy-orange cotton plaid. The style is an apron front, with a cute sweetheart detail in front. This stlyle is great for being somewhat adjustable for size and comfort. Two hidden front panels pin together in front, while the over bodice attached to the skirt buttons/pins over for an 'apron' style. This exact method was used in the Regency era, and is absolutely historical and comfy. Skirt fullness i gathered to back, for a flattering silhouette. Sleeves are short and slightly puffed.
The dress bodice is lined in soft white cotton. Dress pattern, style is historically authentic, but dress has been entiredly machine sewn to keep costs down.
