It all began with my classic Sperry inspired boat shoe, which I then morphed nto a high top by snagging elements from some of my favourite high top boots & sneakers (Retro & new school).
Hand everything - cut, stitched, etched & finished.
I found the Southwest style print 3/4 oz cowhide (side detail) at an Estate sale (limited quantity), which I've paired with beautiful & supple purple & maroon (oiled & distressed) 2/3 oz cowhide, and antiqued brass eyelets.
I live on the west coast of Canada, from which my eagle was inspired. It was hand etched with a woodburning pen, to ensure permanency, unlike a screen printed image which may fade over time.
Technical (new) nicotine rubber boat sole, hand stitched.
The shoes pictured are a size 9 mens (10.5 womens), though I can custom handcraft for any foot size.
