The body of this cropped tank is made of a soft and stretchy lace in a stylized fern pattern. The fabric used at the neck and armholes is a lightweight rayon viscose slubby jersey in a matching cream colour. The fringe itself is 8" of rayon fringe...go ahead, just TRY to not run your fingers through it!
I've worked with fringe quite a bit while making much of my jewelry, so I feel quite confident that the fringe of your top should hold up well as long as you take care of it properly. Try not to pull on the fringe directly and hand wash this top carefully, avoiding totally submerging the fringe in water. It will not unravel or shrink when exposed to water, but this stuff tangles SO easily when it's swirling around in water. I discovered this the hard way while attempting to dye fringe. Trust me, it's not fun.
