Keep in mind that this is a unique piece of art fashion. Perhaps the most exciting thing about this item is that there is no other like it, as hand dyed art is impossible to duplicate.
So, what makes this piece so special? Here are the bragging rights:
James has been creating impressive psychedelic art for over 25 years. He owns and operates Positively Haight Street in San Francisco's infamous Haight Ashbury neighborhood, where he sells his art. James has a strong tie with the musical community, as he began his career selling his art and decorating events for the Grateful Dead and Bill Graham Presents.
These ties culminated when the Grateful Dead chose James' famous star tapestry as the background art for their only tie dye album cover. The album, Ladies and Gentlemen... the Grateful Dead, was released in December 2000. James' psychedelic art became iconic and his tie dye flags hung in Squaw Valley on the Olympic flag poles when Jerry Garcia played there. James' star tie dye flag hung on San Francisco City Hall's flagpole when Jerry Garcia died.
For the first time ever, James is sharing his art with Etsy and the rest of the online community. Please visit our website and online store at www.JamesPrestonSF.com for more products, information, and beautiful psychedelic art.
Blessings!
